I just talked to Al, who arrived in Ghana yesterday and enjoyed breakfast with Pastor Victor and Christiana this morning. Christiana loved the wedding dresses and so we carry ten more dresses with us tomorrow! In Ghana, the food has been ordered for the conference that begins on Thursday evening. We will experience worship, praise and preaching with our sisters that night. Our itinerary is being tweaked and Bibles ordered...In Denver, our team is packing their last items today and spending quality time with family. The Gaessler's are having a family dinner out at PF Changs with Gary's folks tonight. We continue to pray and prepare in this last 24 hours.

Just this morning, in the wee hours God brought to my mind a remarkable experience he wants me to share with the women on Thursday night. This unshared story has been neatly packed in my storage chest of the treasures of my faith, and I have not given thought to it in years; not because of fear or shyness but because I gave it back to God to tell when he choose. God uses every part of our lives to accomplish his purpose to reveal His love and truth to the world. He wastes nothing...I am awed that what God has done for me, he would use to bring others into the knowledge of His love and care for them. My prayer and praise is that we all would have eyes to see and ears to hear the glory that is Christ Jesus!

This is our "team of nine"extraordinary women with courage and love to extend to Ghana! (from left to right; Mary, Carol, Jeanne, Cheryl, Ruth, Cindy, Lexi, Laura and Noell)

On Friday we will take off, each traveling with two checked pieces of luggage weighing 50 lb each and a carry-on in order to bring all the supplies for the children and women. We have 12 Art for the Nations bags filled with art supplies for four projects for 500 children! They will learn how creative they are made and that beauty is all around them, all they have to do is look up! We are bringing quilts for the precious babies in the community. And, if you can believe 12 wedding dresses that will be used for learning advanced alteration skills, supply a rental business for the Vocational School and represent the value of purity in marriage. We have dental supplies, prayer partner cards and gifts! As helpful as all these thing will be to Hodem, none are more valuable than the relationships we continue to build with the people of Ghana.
